Start the New Year on a Positive Note

The past two years have been challenging in many ways. We’ve collectively experienced a pandemic that has taken a physical, mental, emotional and financial toll across the country. Understandably, it can be easy to get consumed by the negativity. But there’s still so much good going on in the world.

Start the new year on a positive note by pausing to reflect on these awesome stories of regular people doing the extraordinary.

Good Samaritan stories

Good Samaritan save stories can be used as examples in your classes to help motivate your students and show real life examples of everyday heroes who chose to act.

Here’s a small sample of save stories from our social media platforms:

We’d love to feature any personal save stories from you or your students. Submit your Good Samaritan story and help others to see the power of CPR, AED and First Aid training.

Thank you to first responders

First responders have always been the first to answer the call of someone in need. But first responders are facing new challenges — from exposure risk to civil unrest to a growing mental health crisis and more —that often makes their job even harder.

Thank you to all first responders who wake up each day and choose to serve their community. You are needed, and you are appreciated.

Thank you to our Instructors and Training Centers

HSI Instructors and Training Centers are on the ground, building the foundation for bystanders to save lives. Your students might not use their training today, tomorrow or even this year. But at some point, your voice will pop into their head as they jump into action to save another.

Thank you for your continued support as we continue to work together in 2022 to help make our workplaces and communities safer.
