In order to join an existing HSI Training Center, please contact your Training Center Director to handle the administrative process of adding a new instructor within Otis. The Training Center Director will verify your eligibility and complete the application process for you.

The qualities you need to become a CPR Instructor are the expertise in teaching as well as an urge to serve people in times of medical emergency. To become a CPR Instructor, you have to undergo formal training. The training can be undertaken in the classroom or online.

The duties and responsibilities of a Certified CPR Instructor include teaching students the right procedures to give emergency care to a person experiencing a sudden heart or breathing problem. The Certified CPR Instructor also evaluates the performance of students.

The CPR Trainer Course covers topics like Adult, Adult and Child, Adult, and Child and Infant as a choices. It will teach you to recognize and care for several first aids, breathing, and cardiac emergencies. The certification period is 2 years.

The American Safety & Health Institute offers different types of training in CPR and First Aid.
