Every year, February is designated as Heart Month, a time to raise awareness about heart health. Perhaps we’re biased, but here at ASHI and MEDIC First Aid, we think getting trained in CPR is one of the best things you can do for all the hearts in your family, your workplace, and your community.

If your Training Center plans to offer additional courses during Heart Month, or if you’re a new TC and still unfamiliar with the full scope of our offerings, we wanted to remind you that you can purchase many of your emergency care training supplies and products from us through your Otis portal:

• AEDs: Do you have automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in your workplace? Do you have a customer who needs one or more of these lifesaving devices? We can help! We carry a variety of AEDs along with an AED management program to make it easy to add an AED to your facility.

• Manikins: If you’re looking to update your collection or need more manikins to accommodate an increased class load, we carry adult and pediatric models in a range of prices.

• LOOP Learning System: The use of a CPR feedback device provides real-time, measured feedback on compression rate, depth, and recoil. HSI’s LOOP enhances training by using music, video, competitive scoring, and other gaming concepts to create a compel­ling, fast-paced, and fun experience for your students.

• Wall posters with emergency care techniques. These double-sided posters feature instructions in English and Spanish.

• Pocket Guides for on-the-go instruction your students can take with them. An ideal addition to their home or vehicle emergency kits.

• Student supply kits for your classes. Each kit contains gloves, gauze pads, rolled gauze, alcohol prep pads, and a CPR shield.
