HSI introduces its new course on the use of Epinephrine Auto-Injectors

Health & Safety Institute is pleased to announce a brand new program. ASHI’s G2015 Use and Administration of Epinephrine Auto-Injectors teaches students about causes of severe allergic reactions, how to recognize and treat anaphylaxis, the use of auto-injectors and legal considerations for administering epinephrine.

Regulations on the administration of epinephrine vary greatly from state to state and depend on the industry/market segment. The HSI regulatory department sought or requested approval for the program in four market segments:

  • General public (Good Samaritan)
  • Childcare providers
  • Schools
  • Camps
