Remote Skills Verification (RSV)
RSV is a revolutionary new way to get full certification training in CPR, AED, and First Aid from a live, authorized HSI Instructor. RSV is fully remote so you can take training anywhere—from the comfort of your home or anywhere you have an internet connection.
With RSV you’ll get blended training in CPR, AED, or First Aid. Take the online portion first, and then schedule your live session where you’ll get real-time feedback and guidance from an authorized HSI instructor.
After passing the skills assessment, your certification card in CPR, AED, or First Aid training will be sent immediately to your email address.

How RSV Works
RSV delivers remote hands-on skills verification with blended training options, available anytime—24 hours a day, 7 days a week. HSI handles all online scheduling, email notifications, and digital certification delivery upon completion. You simply choose which RSV course option makes the most sense for you.
- Select a course and enter your information
- Take the blended, online training
- Receive your delivery of student materials, including a manikin to use and return upon completion
- Schedule your remote hands-on skills verification appointment with a live, authorized HSI Instructor
- Pass the skills assessment and immediately get your digital certification card
