All of these and more are excellent reasons to become a CPR, AED, and first aid instructor with ASHI and/or MEDIC First Aid. Today’s blog post has a few resources for you if you are thinking about taking the plunge.
First up, you’ll need to understand the difference between ASHI and MEDIC First Aid. We did a blog in September of this year outlining those distinctions that you can access here. Or maybe just go with both! Many of our instructors offer both brands at their training center in order to fully serve their community of customers. Our HSI representatives are here at 800.447.3177 to answer your questions and discuss both program brands with you and together we can determine which one (or both) is right for you.
If you are already an emergency care instructor offering training from another training provider, our reciprocity option can make it easy for you to join the ASHI and MEDIC First Aid family. We can accept your current credentials from another nationally recognized organization or institution as the basis for authorization as an ASHI or MEDIC First Aid instructor or instructor trainer. Other instructor credentials may be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Your on-boarding representative will help you with the process and required paperwork and documentation.
Perhaps the best way to explore a new career possibility is to learn from those who are already there. We’ve collected some of our favorite stories and blog comments about why people teach lifesaving skills to their communities and businesses. Now we want to tell those stories to everyone who is considering joining us in our shared mission to make learning to save lives easy.
Download our eBook, Work that Touches the Heart, for comments and stories, how to become an instructor for ASHI and MEDIC First Aid, some thoughts on starting your own business, and more.
